Empowerment One on One

One on one, well… not really. It may feel like it, because – well, the target is to reach the individual spiritual leader (whether he/she is active in his/her gift or still in the phase of “hiding” from the assignment). For some, this “blog” will be the entrance to more structured training and empowerment – whether through Refiner’s Fire or through another platform. So let it begin…

Empowerment begins with acknowledgment and self awareness of posture – accepting that you are weaker than you should be (whether it is your desire to be stronger, or just know you aren’t quite there yet). Ah! The challenge is to reduce the thoughts of grandiosity and identify with real, honest, true “identity in the now”. What does that mean? It means that who you are right now compared to who you should be based on the revelation of God. Unless a person is willing to admit that their individual manifestation is less than where they should be, it will be a challenge to be empowered – for one will consistently believe they have all the power they need.

After self realization, the next step is even more challenging… one must find the source for their empowerment. As a leader one must be sensitive to what it will take from another to progress and excel. Everyone will have a spiritual father and/or mother – but in their lives will have multiple spiritual mentors. As a side note, as you expand spiritually, do not overlook what God has called you to be in the marketplace – and remember to identify “marketplace mentors” that do not create a conflict to your spiritual identity.

Third – and final for this entry – is submitting to the process of empowerment. Often, it is easy to begin the process, but it is more challenging to continue through the process. Process produces the manifestation of purpose…

An extra gem…

As a leader, you must be willing to accept rejection. Not everyone loves you, appreciates you, etc. It is amazing how God will shift your direction by rejection. Some of the places you had to leave or people you had to let go of was not because you wanted to leave, or were willing/ready to let go – but rather it was a raising up of a spirit of rejection – so you would godirectly where you were supposed to be. Destiny can be birthed by rejection. You have to experience rejection to be empowered for the great.
